2018 Moth World Championships

The Bacardi Worlds 2018 took place from March 25th to April 1st at the Royal Hamilton Club in Bermuda. Due to a capricious weather, only 6 races out of 18 could be launched; it was enough to validate the championship.

In the first run, when I was in 5th position, my back foil broke and made me lose the opportunity to take advantage of conditions in which I perform the best. During the second day, we had difficult conditions, but this time, it allowed to be more in contact, and to be more aggressive.

The event was won by British Paul Goodison, for the third year in a row. I rank in 25th place. Good satisfaction for the general progress, the management of the logistics, the control of the boat, especially, during the phases of manoeuvre and transition. My winter preparation has paid off.
